Dear Resident,
Mountsorrel Beat Team Weekly Update This week, the Mountsorrel Beat Team has continued to work closely with colleagues and partner agencies to support our community and safeguard vulnerable people.
On Monday, the Beat Officer assisted Response officers by safely returning a missing person to their home address after information was received regarding their whereabouts.
Throughout the week, the team has been carrying out high-visibility patrols across the village, providing reassurance to residents and maintaining a visible presence within the community. We have also continued our ongoing work to safeguard vulnerable individuals and ensure they receive any support they may require.
On Thursday evening, the Beat Officer joined a neighbouring beat officer and representatives from Charnwood Borough Council for a joint visit. Partnership working is an important part of tackling local issues and supporting those most in need. The Beat Officer also carried out a welfare check on a vulnerable resident within the beat area to ensure their wellbeing and that appropriate support remains in place.
The team will continue to patrol the village, work with partner agencies, and respond to concerns raised by the community to help keep Mountsorrel a safe place to live, work and visit.
